Hear Us Out starts today! Don’t miss out – we hope you’ll join us online over the next few days for an online celebration of older LGBTQ+ people’s stories. It’s free to book for all of these online events, though there is the option to make a donation when booking if you are in a position to support the programme.

Artistic Director Dinos Aristidou said:

‘It’s been such a privilege to be part of this extraordinary project. It not only celebrates older LGBTQ+ people’s stories and lives, but it’s also a celebration of older people’s creativity, imagination and determination to be heard and to be visible. It’s truly been a joy and an inspiration working with, getting to know and collaborating with all the participants. The ‘Hear Us Out’ project has had such an incredible impact on me – a huge thank you to all who have been involved.’

After many years of development, story-gathering, writing and rehearsals, Hear Us Out kicks off at 6pm today (26th November), and runs until Sunday 29th.

Join us online for a digital celebration of older LGBTQ+ lives and stories, featuring digital performances, films, a workshop and a lively open discussion led by the wonderful Rikki Beadle Blair.

Today’s event Read Us Out starts at 6pm this evening with a series of performances of LGBTQ+ creative writing – a perfect start to the four day online celebration.
